Text Advertising Content Guidelines

The Profit Clinic is committed to providing an advertising service with fair and consistent policies that benefit our visitors, advertisers, partners, and ourselves. To achieve this goal, we insist on high standards for ads accepted into the Text Ads Program. The policies listed below complement our Terms and Conditions and set out our advertising policies with regard to products and services.

As a general rule, you may not advertise anything illegal, unethical or of questionable status. You must honour not only the letter of any applicable laws, but also the spirit of those laws. If in doubt, don't.

You may also wish to review our Editorial Guidelines. To run your ads on our network of sites, you must adhere to both our content and editorial guidelines. Implementation and enforcement of our guidelines will always involve an element of discretion and we reserve the right to decline or approve any ads at our absolute discretion.

Please note that the decisions we make concerning advertising are final.

Aids to Pass Drug Tests	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of products such as drug cleansing shakes and urine test additives.
Alcohol	Advertising promoting alcohol products is not permitted.
Anti and Violence	Advertisements and associated web sites may not promote violence or advocate against any group distinguished by their: Race or ethnic origin Colour National origin Religion Disability Sex Age Veteran status Sexual orientation or gender identity Ads advocating against any organisation or person (public, private, or protected) is not permitted. Stating disagreement with or campaigning against a candidate for public office, a political party or public administration is generally permissible. This standard applies to everyone who wants to advertise on our network, whether we agree with their stated position or not.
Mass Communication	Advertising of mass communication products or services is not permitted if their stated or implied use is unsolicited spam. They may include: Email lists that are not opt-in Bulk email software or services Bulk messaging
Cable Descramblers and Black Boxes	Advertising is not permitted for products that descramble cable and satellite signals in order to get free cable services.
Cell Phone Jammers	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of sites, services or products that enable illegal access to or tampering with software, servers, websites, cell phones or other communications or content delivery systems or devices.
Counterfeit Designer Goods	Advertising is not permitted for products that are replicas, or imitations, of trademarked designer goods.
Dialers	We do not permit advertising associated with dialers in any way.
Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of drugs and drug paraphernalia. This includes drug accessories, illegal drugs, and herbal drugs such as salvia and magic mushrooms.
Fake Documents	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of fake IDs, passports, degrees, diplomas and titles.
Fireworks/Pyrotechnic Devices	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of fireworks and pyrotechnic devices.
Gambling	Advertising is not permitted for online casinos, sports books, bingo, or for affiliates with the primary aim of driving traffic to online gambling sites.
Hacking and Cracking Sites	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of hacking or cracking. For example, sites must not provide instructions or equipment to illegally access or tamper with software, servers, or web sites.
Medical and Health Claims	Advertising is not permitted for products or services making health or medical claims that cannot be substantiated to the standard required by regulatory authorities.
Mod Chips	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of mod chips, such as devices that unlock copyright protection.
Prescription Drugs and Related Content	We do not accept ads for pharmaceutical products or related content. Apart from the inherent problems they entail legally, they are unlikely to be appropriate to appear on our network of sites.
Prostitution	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of prostitution.
Sexual Content (Adult)	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of pornography or other sexual content or material.
Solicitation of Funds	Only government-registered charities may solicit funds. Political fundraising is generally permitted only if it has relevance to the direct selling profession or to the Internet.
Tobacco and Cigarettes	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of tobacco or tobacco-related products.
Traffic Devices	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of radar jammers, license plate covers, traffic signal changers or related products.
Weapons	Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of weapons, including firearms, ammunition, balisongs, butterfly knives and brass knuckles.
